a little background…

Working Title: God’s Cathedral

This is a story I began working on when I was in summer school in 2005. I worked on it off and on during the summer, but was distracted by my landscape architecture studio that fall and never returned to the work. As I read through my unfinished manuscripts I found that I liked this story the most and I want to spend some time working, editing, and continuing the story.

I am a Christian, so this story will have a Christian theme. I also wish to portray life somewhat realistically and as I have experienced it. The young woman in this story starts out full of doubt and the friends around her behave in unsavory ways at times. I will not use foul language directly, but at times it will be implied to relate something important to the story and to set up an accurate view of the people around Sapphira as well as her own feelings. Even as Christians, our lifestyles and environment are not without sin. I find that most Christian novels do not portray an accurate reality for the world in which we live – this bothers me as it ignores truth. There is sin and Christians sin. We are forgiven through Christ and in that I rejoice.

This is a work in progress and editing will always be needed. I apologize for any misspellings or grammar/punctuation mistakes. That being said, please leave constructive comments if you so desire.
